Meet our Staff

Pastor

Pastor Durwood Perry has been a pastor for 37 years and at New Hope First Baptist since October 1999. His pastorates include churches in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He graduated from Reinhardt College with A.A., LaGrange College with B.A., and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Master of Divinity. He and his wife of 35 years, Anne Weatherby Perry have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Minister of Music

Rick Bowen has been Minister of Music at New Hope for over 14 years.

He and his wife, Melinda are wonderful assets to the ministry of our church.

Rick has an enthusiastic spirit and a passion in serving our Lord Jesus.

Youth Minister/Associate Pastor

Frank Crowe has been a member, a Deacon, and a Sunday School Teacher at New Hope for many years.

Recently, he answered the call to become our Youth/Associate Pastor.

He and his wife, Sharon are a blessing to our youth and to all in our church family.
